Terms of Service

APPOINTMENT REQUESTS:
To ensure the best results of your appointment, please be sure that the property is ready prior to the scheduled appointment. You may read my recommended Home Prep Guide to give you an understanding of my expectations. 

By confirming your appointment, you agree to the readiness expectations and the following policy: you agree that the home will be organized, clean, staged (if applicable), and ready to photograph on the agreed upon date and time you have selected. This includes working with any connected builder and seller to ensure the home is photo-ready.

For liability purposes, REG Photography does not handle any of the preparations for the readiness of the property, including but not limited to: cleaning, organizing, or moving of furniture. If the property is not ready by the time of the appointment and the shoot cannot proceed, there will be a $75 trip fee.

PAYMENT POLICY: Payment is accepted prior to your appointment via cash, check, or Venmo (@Rachel-Greiff). Please make checks payable to "Rachel E. Greiff". Full payment is due prior to or at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been previously agreed upon.

These Terms will remain in effect for all future engagements between you (the client) and REG Photography, or until Terms or Service are edited or amended by REG Photography. 

TIME, CANCELLATIONS, AND WEATHER POLICY:
By confirming your appointment, you agree to REG Photography’s cancellation/reschedule policy: you are able to cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time with no penalty. However, if you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice you will be charged a $75 cancellation fee. 
 
While I do not charge for a rescheduling fee due to weather-related circumstances, it is up to the discretion of the client as to whether or not they would like to reschedule the shoot, or to continue with the current appointment. In the case of severe weather conditions (such as heavy rain, wind, or snow) on the date and time of your appointment, for the safety of the photographer and equipment your appointment will be rescheduled at no cost to you. 
 
Depending on the services ordered and size of your property, you can expect your scheduled appointment to take at least two hours to complete. If booking a photography package AND a 3D Tour, please allow for an additional hour for completion. Additionally, homes with over 3000 square footage will require additional time for shooting. This is all to ensure that your property receives the attention it deserves so I may showcase it in the best possible manner.
 
Turnaround time for photos is two to three business days after your scheduled shoot.

TRAVEL COST:
REG Photography covers a 30-mile radius within my location of Pittsburgh. In the case that REG Photography is needed to travel more than 30 miles outside of my location, there will be an additional travel fee for any miles traveled. This fee covers my time and operational cost. Below is my travel fee breakdown:

Within a 30-mile radius of my location (centered around Pittsburgh) = no travel fee
31 - 50 miles outside of my location = additional $50 travel fee
Please contact me for a quote regarding any additional travel more than 50 miles outside of Pittsburgh.
 

LIMITED LICENSE RELEASE:
In order to provide you with the best service, REG Photography does not sell photographs; REG Photography

licenses their use. Customers of REG Photography are paying for a “Photography Service” and are purchasing a non-transferable “License to Use” for the photographs.

This means that only you (the client) have permission to use the delivered photos on any electronic or printed forms of advertisement for the promotion of the listing. Builders, stagers, designers, or “third parties” who wish to use photographs owned by REG Photography must contact REG Photography directly for licensing and fees.
For image integrity and quality control, REG Photography asks that photographs not be heavily altered once delivered. However, resizing and cropping are allowed.

Photographs and video can be made available to another real estate agent or person taking over an expired or withdrawn listing at a $75 rebranding fee. Please contact REG Photography for any rebranding needs.
 
WORK PRODUCT OWNERSHIP:
Any copyrightable works, ideas, discoveries, products, or other information (collectively, the “Work Product”) developed in whole or in part by REG Photography shall be the exclusive property of REG Photography.
REG Photography reserves the right to use video and photos for advertising, display, publication, or other purposes.

All photos, samples, videos, and proofs remain the exclusive property of REG Photography unless waived by amendment to this agreement. Unauthorized use of photographs/video is a copyright violation and will result in the termination of this contract.
 

PHOTO USAGE:

Photos produced by REG Photography may be uploaded to any social media or MLS listing services by the client, solely for the promotion of the listing during the viability of this agreement. However, regardless of any terms and conditions of the MLS, at no time does this agreement provide the right to transfer copyright or any other exclusive rights as provided by the Copyright Act 17 U.S.C § 106.

PROPERTY OWNER APPROVAL:
The Client may need to obtain a written signed approval from the property owner prior to filming or taking pictures. In this instance, REG Photography can provide a written location release approval form upon request.

REG Photography always makes every effort to maintain the privacy of the property owner's neighbors. I will do my best to respect the privacy of anyone not directly involved in the client's photo shoot. In some cases, the client may be required to ask for permission from neighbors before REG Photography begins filming.
 

SEVERABILITY:
If one or more of the provisions contained in this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Such provisions will be revised only to the extent necessary to make them enforceable.

 

PHOTO RECOVERY FEE: Photos are delivered with a Google Photos download link valid for 14 days. If you fail to download the photos within 14 days and need a new download link, there will be a $50.00 photo recovery fee.
